The Nowhere Box

I’m VERY excited to announce that my first picture book, The Nowhere Box, which I’ll be writing and illustrating, is due out in Autumn/Fall 2013 and will be published by Candlewick.

George is sick of his little brother and friend following him round Everywhere and ruining all his games. Determined to escape he finds the discarded cardboard box from the new washing machine is the perfect thing to take him to the one place they’ll never find him – Nowhere.

The plan works a whole lot better than he could ever have hoped.

Expect broken toys, persistent siblings, an unexpectedly effective escape and a surprising outcome. And cardboard. Lots of cardboard.

I’ll keep you posted with developments as they arise, hope you’ll stick around for this journey Nowhere…
